Geo Word Search is an educational learn and play app for kids ages eight to ten that enjoy playing brain games and learning about the outdoors. Since the app is designed for an age group that reads well, the game is intuitive when introducing wildlife of earth’s biomes through word search puzzles in an inviting and fun way. The app divides the earth’s geography between aquatic and terrestrial biomes. Then divides each biome into many word search games with different topics, like animals and plants, that the specific biome has. Once finding a word, a graphic appears with a unique factoid about the found word. The app not only has colorful illustrations, but it also relies heavily on typography, animations, and calming music to further capture the child’s attention. Once completing certain word puzzles, the child can upgrade to more advanced versions of the word puzzles.
